Hire InTuition hired ARI Consultants Inc. to draft them up a business plan (banks require these for loans) and in return Brad and John would help ARI find a part-time writer. A resume, a few writing samples (mostly from my Facebook notes), and an interview later, I got the job! It's a part-time writing job where I get paid more than twice as much as I got for my internship AND I can work at home. Best part? Well there are two:
1.) My boss is awesome and possibly the mentor I've been looking for and
2.) I get paid to write! Something I've always wanted to do.
I feel like this is my first step into branching out and doing something I want to do. It's been a while since I've earned anything based off of merit. When my boss held up my short story in his hands and told me that got me the job... it felt amazing...
